Power transformers

When it comes to power transformers, as well as some special transformers, we cooperate with several leading European manufacturers; first and foremost Ganz Transzformátor in Hungary, but also GBE from Italy. All factories are of course ISO certified and comply with all applicable IEC and EU standards.

Ganz Transzformátor, is one of the world's oldest transformer manufacturers with over 130 years of experience. They actually manufactured the world's first transformer back in 1884, but today they specialize in larger power transformers and special transformers. Since Ganz manufactures high-voltage transformers up to 765 kV and about 600 MVA, it can really be said that there are no practical limits to their manufacturing. Among several specialties are extra-low noise transformers, water-cooled transformers, railroad transformers, and mobile power transformers.

Although the company was founded as recently as 1999, GBE has extensive experience in transformer manufacturing. They currently manufacture transformers for most purposes. When it comes to power transformers, the focus is on the somewhat smaller transformers, but they have capacity for oil transformers up to about 50 MVA and 145 kV and cast resin transformers up to 25 MVA and 36 kV.
