MiljöEko3® - a cast-resin-insulated transformer that exceeds current legal requirements!

We’re not just sitting around waiting for new laws and regulations to take effect. We are in constant dialogue with our suppliers and engineers about how to improve our products, both in terms of quality and environmental impact. When we saw that several reports and studies pointed toward even stricter requirements for power losses in transformers within the EU, we decided to take action now. That is why we developed a new series of transformers that meet the requirements being discussed in preparation for a potential Phase 3 of the Ecodesign Directive*. The result was MiljöEko3®.

*At this stage, discussions are only ongoing for a possible phase 3 of the Ecodesign Directive. We therefore do not guarantee that the product meets requirements that have not yet been established.

MiljöEko3® is our next step toward more energy-efficient dry-type transformers. With 10% lower no-load losses than our MiljöEko2® cast resin transformer, you’ll enjoy lower energy losses and lower operating costs, while also preparing for the stricter requirements currently under discussion.

The reduced energy costs mean that the additional investment in MiljöEko3® can pay for itself in just a few years. After that, you’ll continue to save money for the remainder of the transformer’s service life. How much you can save depends, among other things, on the transformer’s load.
