Power transformers

When it comes to power transformers, as well as some special transformers, we cooperate with several leading European manufacturers; first and foremost Ganz Transzformátor in Hungary, but also GBE from Italy. All factories are of course ISO certified and comply with all applicable IEC and EU standards. Power transformers can also be called high-voltage transformers.

Ganz Electric, is one of the world's oldest transformer manufacturers with over 145 years of experience. In fact, they manufactured the world's first transformer over 145 years ago and in 1885 they patented the world's first closed-core transformer. Today, they specialize in larger power transformers and specialty transformers. Since Ganz manufactures high voltage transformers up to 800 kV and about 600 MVA, it can be said that there are no practical limits to their production. Among several specialties are extra low noise high voltage transformers, water-cooled transformers, transformers for railway applications and mobile power transformers. Ganz Electric offers digitalized high-voltage transformers with a complete intelligent monitoring solution. They are certified according to ISO 17025 and comply with IEC, IEEE and EU standards.

Although the company was founded as recently as 1999, GBE has extensive experience in transformer manufacturing. They currently manufacture transformers for most purposes. When it comes to high-voltage transformers, the focus is on the somewhat smaller transformers, but they have capacity for oil transformers up to about 50 MVA and 145 kV and cast resin transformers up to 25 MVA and 36 kV. They are, of course, ISO certified and comply with all applicable IEC and EU standards.
