Lower power losses are key to a better environment
With rising electricity prices and an uncertain future, it is important to do all you can now. Investing in a transformer with lower power losses is a very good step on the way. Already today, you can recoup an investment in Miljö Eko3® in just a few years, and given that a transformer is expected to have a lifespan of at least 35-40 years, that’s a lot of years when you’ll be saving money instead of feeding the crows.

Today, many transformers in industries and power grids are up to 50 years old and, in addition to often being filled with oil, they also have significantly higher losses than modern alternatives. So as well as a greater environmental impact, we also have a safety risk of breakdown and oil leakage, so even if they seem to work, it’s high time for replacement.
